Who Would have Thought?

So let me set this little story of my life up by saying that this summer I am nannying for twin 10 year old boys.  This has been the perfect job to allow me to make a little side money, but also to have a low key enjoyable job after a year of very intense graduate school, and before my first year of teaching.  (I will be teaching at Curry Ingram, which I am super excited about!)

Okay so on to the story, so yesterday I took the boys to Lazer Tag down town, which in my opinion is the best lazer tag around.  I warned the boys beforehand that I was rather good at this game, but they laughed and rolled their little eyes assuming that their vast video gaming experience would put me to shame.  There was a time before we were married that Jared made this same mistake, and I schooled him on the game of Lazer Tag! (He claims I cheated, but honestly how can you cheat at lazer tag?!) So needless to say, I beat the boys, as well as the rest of hopeful little children whose dreams of being the best, I squashed.  (I am slightly ashamed to say I even beat a 15 yr old birthday girl…oops) 

So there is no real reason that I should be good at lazer tag.  I do Not play video games, nor am I any good at them.  I am not very athletic or really even very competitive, but put a lazer gun in my hand and I become a different kind of animal!  So the question is: What is something you are good at that doesn’t necessarily fit your personality?
